HOLY SHIT MY FIRST ANIME CON WAS A-FREAKING-MAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got to watch a cool movie called Fire and Ice. I even got to meet the director!!!!!! XD yay!

this con was special because was there as well as . they really helped me out, especially since i was completely overwhelmed in the first three minutes. CX*

there were a lot of cool costumes- pictures will be posted up soon. there was a tigerfox FURRY!!! he is nerdyfox on Fur Affinity, look him up.

there was also an AMAZING black guy who was the coolest man alive. he cosplayed as Cloud, Hollow Ichigo, and.... i dunno, LOTS of people. he never failed to keep everyone entertained. i glomped several people. DD AND i was glomped as well EVEN though my costume looked like shit... ^.^* there was a girl who was cosplaying as Ameratsu from Okami. the fur costume was her first, and it was WAY better than mine. someone filmed ud fighting together in costume, so if you get a chance look for it on youtube and send me a link. i wanna see it...

a topic has been chosen for my new comic by and he wil get a free commission from it.

i am happy that i was able to FINALLY collect the rest of the Guru Guru Pon Chan manga series as well as buy two pins, Fire and Ice, and an Axel plushie.

but now that the con is over, everyone has gone home. i keep walking the halls saying, "C'mon, guys, where are you? where are the movies, panels, and merchandise? why is it so quiet?!". i feel embarassed... but i guess i did not want my first ever anime con to end. it was truly a life changing experience- i have never known so many people could love you the second you walked through the door. now i do. and i want to fel that again and again and again. no one gets mad at you for glomping. a guy from the press even took a picture of me in my costume! i just don't know if it made it to the paper... ^^*LOL

so yeah, let's talk about... FIRE AND ICE!!!!!

a truly epic movie, with graceful animation and stunning, beautiful characters. although some people might refer to the costumes as "skimpy" i thought they were lovely AND an accurate portrayal of fantasy and of that time period. the only problem with it? The theme song was used at the wrong time at some point, and Dark Wolf (MINE, YOU STUPID FANGIRLS, MINE!!!!!!!!) and his ability to deflect Necron's Icy Blood attack was NEVER explained. but, without a doubt, he was the most BADASS character ANYONE could come up with.

i do hate that black wolves with red eyes were trying to kill Lor(en?) at some point- wolves NEVER do that. ah well- it was different back then. *stretches* but it was excellent- and perhaps some day i too will either direct or animate a movie such as this. if you can find it, BUY THE MOVIE. IT IS WELL WORTH YOUR TIME.

Fire and Ice:

oh! i also FINALLY got to see Transformers: Rise of the Fallen. my rating? . "balls of steel" now has a new meaning.... screw what those goddamn newspaper articles say- GO SEE THE MOVIE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIKE EGYPTIAN MYTHOLOGY. IT IS A-FUCKING-MAZING AS WELL.

I can't wait for the third one.

oh yeah! YAOI!!!!

there was a booth that had a small box filled woth yaoi and three books called "Manga Sutra". i wanted the sutra ones- they were very interesting. at least in cover... they were wrapped so i couldn't read them... T^T...

when i picked up a yaoi book to read the back, the owner seriously grabbed the box, yanked it away, and asked if i was 18+. i said, "I'll be X in spetember, that count?" and he was like, "NOPE." ans walked away. honestly... i would not have been surprised if he had said . XD plus, we all kept hearing music from Repo! the genetic opera. "Little Glass Vial" was my favorite. :3

soooooo.... some people asked what my costume was. it was supposed to be Gothic, but her hair looked like a pillow so i used it like that. the head looked like a turnip, and the body was too big....
so it was dubbed:
1. Anteater/Aardvark (same animal, right?)

4 thing from Princess Mononoke (WHICH there was a cosplayer- a blonde PM too... XD )
